First tops out of Class |

The tops below were done by Dan Otto, with Otto Contracting in St. Louis, MO. He jumped right in and did a countertop right out of class. All the edges were done with the Z Counterforms. Texture-Pave was colored with Palomino. Highlighted with Coffee REFLECTOR Enhancer and E100-PT1 Fast.

Very nice! Hope mine look that good. Going to do one over a shi## bath vanity vinyl after the wife finishes her painting. If she ever gets it done...lol I told her she better get busy because the phone is starting to ring with customers that I saw at the home show this past weekend that want estimates. If she waits to long....oh boy....lol

Well , i guess i can explain . two layers of 3/4 and z-forms . Left it 3/4 thick . Dan put tp down on lath then mixed p-gravel and fiber in and left a little room to do a little TP over top . When he pulled the forms , him and the home owner liked the look on edges so he left them like that . I didnt care for them until the epoxy went on , then they looked pretty good and unique. He got them pretty flat , and rub bricked and went straight over with clear epoxy and then did a little reflector highlight. He did learn not to leave epoxy in plastic container . A little nervous and Nick bailed him out . Thanks Nick . He started out on one of the more difficult things to do , but, Nick got him on the right track so it wasnt so bad . He didnt have to go through learning curve like many of us . Thats why this forum is so nice . Kudos .Tom M

Did i mention with the fiber and pea gravel there isnt one crack , not even at sink cut out . Tom M
