It's always important to install high quality work but in this economic environment it's as important to offer a very competitive proposal. So I would advise only including the use of UV1 as your topcoat but to always offer the Spartic-All RM as an upgrade. The key is to then explain why you are offering it. This way your price is competitive and you are allowing the customer to make an educated decision. The customer will get a better feeling that you really know your stuff. I always did that and my closing ratio was always high with a dollar amount that was always slightly higher than my competition. If you always explain what you are going to do and most importantly why! along with what is commonly done in the industry and why you don't do it that way you will be able to steadily close at a slightly higher dollar amount.

Also, an easier way to figure out how much flake you will need for a job is to simply take the square footage and multiply it by .157 and that will give you an adequate amount to perform your installation. Don't forget though that the amount of PT4 you are using as your base coat will effect how much flake you will need with the small flake sizes!
