Posts: 283 01/06/11 07:43 AM	Fall hunting is a blast, even with a bow. Turkeys are grouped up and easy to kill. Step One: Find group of turkeys. Step Two: Sneak as close as possible without spooking. Step Three: When you think you're going to be spotted, run full blast at the group scattering turkeys in all directions. Step Four: Immediately put up decoy(s) and sit down to lightly call, clucking. Step Five: Blast (or stick one with arrow) turkey of your choice when they regroup at your decoy. Good fun and awesome eating!

Posts: 810 01/06/11 08:02 PM	Bow is weapon of choice , muzzy only , since 1990 That deer was 180 yards, Knight 45 caliber 175 grain bullet. Turkey was actually this spring. Deer really like that turnip patch .Oh i usually tuck in the tongue , forgot. Nine days of bow season left . Seen a decent buck couple nights ago . Wind is not good for the next 6 days . I guess i will hunt the last 3 days .Need some chili meat. Jerky. Tom M
