Anti static flooring |
Lead | ||
|
Does anyone know anything about overlay material for an industrialized environment? Specifically, anti-static epoxy. It is meant to dissipate static and prevent sparking in a room with a lot of solvent and automotive paint/coating fumage. It looks like just plain ole overlay cement with a black epoxy layer on it.

Very expensive stuff. I did an 80 sq/ft floor and my cost was $300 in material. Here is a website http://www.antistaticfloors.com

There are anti static additives that you can get and mix with epoxies. Google anti static epoxy additives. Never worked with them but I've chased them down once for a project I bidded on. It's hard to find someone state side that carries it and you don't need a boat load shipped from overseas. gene ec-Indy
