Adaptor for Crack Chaser

Posts: 1 07/05/10 02:09 PM	Tags : None Does anyone know where I can find an adaptor to mount a crack chaser on my grinder. I've been to Home Depot and Northern Tool today with no luck. All the "real" hardware stores were closed today. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Posts: 2 07/05/10 06:31 PM	Not sure exactly what I need. The diamond wheel has no threads. My grinders are about 20 years old......could be missing some pieces. I've only used them as side grinders.

Posts: 2835 07/05/10 07:08 PM	You need a back plate and a hole spacer if your opening is too large for the shaft. Then you need a top plate that screws on the shaft. Take it to a machine, repair center of some sort and ask them how to put it together. They will more than likely have all the parts to make it go. I have went through many 4" grinders and have a bucket full of odds and ends. gene
