Client wants a dusted look under sealer. Can I throw down some baking soda under the sealer? Will this affect curing? will it dissolve?

Haven't a clue on what your trying to sell your client. Keep it simple. You can start to play with things once you get the basics down. I would get the sample boards out and experiement there. This over an overlay? Baking soda will cloud the sealer but you havet o mix it into the sealer itself. Don't go and experiement on you customers project. Know what you are doing before doing it and not just some suggestions on this board. Have you called your Distributor ????? gene ec-Indy

I just want to give it a travertine look. Yes called my Dist. He said, never heard of that, but that's how new inventions are made. I will sample it first Gene. And dude you're the man, always get good answers from ya.

OK, I looked. What sealer are you using? If you want a "lower" embedded light colored "dust". Apply a coat of ..... what ever with a very light loading of charcoal Reflector Enhancer. Then top coat it. If you are going epoxy, no biggie. If you are going CSS, be careful on rolling the top coat. It will re-emulsify the under coat and want to move it around. If going with WCS, don't know but I would still follow the CSS rules. LIGHT LOADING. gene ec-Indy
