Posts: 1 05/25/10 10:12 AM	Tags : None Hello fellow brothers and sisters of the crete...This is my first post - awesome forum and some really impressive work! I am looking - killing myself actually, for a scratch resistant clear for countertops. I have experimented at length with epoxies, which I love and am using, but they are not very scratch resistant. I don't want to use urethane because that stuff is really toxic. Anyone have any other great ideas? Do you know of an epoxy that is scratch resistant, or, do you know of a clear that lives and plays happily with epoxy that I can apply over an epoxy to increase the scratch resistance? I will post some pics in a minute when I figure out how to... thanks so much for any tips...

Posts: 749 05/25/10 03:59 PM	Very nice samples. Have you tried using Protect-All over the epoxy? It's pretty solid and was designed to add more scratch resistance to epoxy. Posts: 299 05/26/10 07:30 AM	spartical is very scratch resistant..and it cures very fast...I love the stuff. I put some on a sample and then put vinigar, mustard, ketchup and red wine..let it sit overnight..scubbed it off..no stains..
