Just poured my first cast in place job in my own kitchen. Iv done
several small precast pieces without any issues.
I got several small voids around the forms either from poor vibration or lack of moisture or the joint was too narrow of a space. ( some were due it it sticking to the form when I removed.)
Materials used in this project was Sakrete 5000 Plus, and Iron oxide for the black color. I am very impressed in the workability of the material.
My question is what would you recommend filing the voids with?
1.I was thinking some thin finish to get a bond coat and then mixing up some thick texture pave.
2.My only other option is getting some of the patching material Sakrete makes that is a vinyl polymer, im only worried about the final texture not matching.
3.Or mixing some thick slurry with this http://www.sakrete.com/pr...D=CrackResistantConcrete
Possibly adding some additional shrink inhibitor.
This difficulty here is the vertical aspect and getting it to form without sagging,.
