Bruce, The way I kept the lines crisp has al ot to do with the tan coat of Thin Finish. Once the Thin finish was down I taped it off using blue painters tape, let the tape hang over the edge about a 1/16" and pressed it down to the black epoxy below. When the green colored epoxy was applied I would wet my magic trowel with epoxy and set t on the edge of the tape and pull away from the tan color. Immediately after that coat was applied we pulled the tape. After the green area dried we did the tan area. We did not reverse tape. I applied by first coat of epoxy in the tan area with a steel trowel and paint brush being careful to only work a small amount to the edge, since I was applying a final top coat.
