When using Mongoose or similar to cut lines what do you use to get right to the wall?

Most times if you can incorporate a border to avoid having to go all the way to the wall. Having said that a 4" grinder and when you get close to the wall or sawcut bury the blade into the concrete and finish the cut. |

You sell them a border pushing the aesthetics. Also tell them you will do it for free because it will look so much better. Tell your clients that you charge
more for cuts to the wall, then tell them why. You can find small 2" diamond blades on line that will bring the cut close enough to cover with quarter
round. Use a piece of thin sheet metal to protect the kick board from kerf marks from the 4" grinder with the small blade. gene ec-Indy

I just sell border 5-6" from wall. Then every 4' cut line to wall using angle grinder & tuck point blade. Chisel & hammer last 1" if
needed. PITA

awwwww
why not just throw the borders in for FREE ? i read some folks even throw in the enire job... 15k wow, i am still on the floor on that one.. but i guess on a 15k acid stain job... the cost for 5 or six gallons of acid stain diluted 3 or 4 to one or more.... your only out less than 400 bucks... profit margins blind a person into NOT seeing the contract signatures? errrr, get half the money up front for materials WHEN you SELL a job !!
