This was a good job. Took me and a helper 2 weeks to install because of weather issues. Work a day, off two days and so on. I'll detail the job after
the pictures.

Customer had Kool Deck painted brown and hated it. Here's the way it went down:
- Went in last month and used a scarifier & grinders to get rid of the Kool-Deck
- Returned 2 weeks ago to start the job
- Day one prep: 5200 psi power wash, acid etch, neutralize, power wash, let dry, crack repair, patch.
- Day two skim: Ruby skim coat over the sunken hot tub area to the pool steps and around the pool perimeter for the brick and tile trowel down. Let it dry for 2 hours and skimmed white over the rest for the stamp.
- Day three trowel: Masked off my trowel areas, taped off the tile and brick. Then I did the tile in Dark Sandstone while my helper did the brick in Chocolate.
- Day four stamp: Bricked the whole trowel area to allow the trowel marks to be accented when stained. Used 3/4" thick weather stripping tape to dam off the stamp from the trowel areas and the joints in the slab. Leapfrogged the sections and did the 3 largest.
- Day five stamp: Finished leapfrogging around the pool.
- Day six stamp: Went in and did the rest of the stamp.
- Day seven dress up: Rub bricked around the edges, pulled the tape, got rid of all the sharp spots that would hurt bare feet. and stained.
- Hand painted grout lines with 5:1 US with 4oz Brick PCC.
- Sprayed entire job with 3:1 US with 7oz Desert Beige (100% coverage)
- Sprayed entire job with 5:1 US with 8oz Chocolate (about 40% coverage)
- Sprayed CSS 2:1, waited an hour, then rolled CSS 1:1
- Collected the check!
