Im a little unsure about one thing. when you choose a color/texture from the Library, you dont get specifics on colors. for example, it just shows the names of the pcc bottles. How much used? 1oz, 3oz, 8oz per bag? or sprayed? Yes, im a professional and im sure i can whip out some sample boards and get it right, but wouldnt it be cooler if it said sandstone or sun buff? or is that just making it too easy for me. GREAT SOFTWARE! Im not knocking it, I love it, just wondering if im missing anything. I can see how it will sell and get the customers wheeels turning. The important thing is that they see THEIR driveway in the picture and an idea of what can be done. Anyone who uses the software regularly, please get back with me, or is there a discussion post on software only?

Posts: 1959 02/12/09 10:42 PM Moderaor in training	Brian. Don't get too hooked up too much on the colors. Show them the basics of colors and sell them what they like. Make a sample board to sell the deal. This program is to "wiz and bang" even though you can plan project. Think about it: You walk up to the front door with a printed out sheet of what that crappy driveway "could" look like and the projects half sold. Use it for what it is. (Oh, dress up the landscape in the photo while you are at it). It helps sell your patio or walk. (It's a selling tool) !!!!! GENE ec-idny

Posts: 22 05/17/09 10:09 AM	Is the software better than the sample elite crete has on it's main page. I wasn't too impressed with it cause it only had a couple of colors and patterns. Maybe that is just a sample of it. I would like to hear from some guys that use it. Is it worth it before I invest in it. What are the pros and cons of it.

Posts: 10 05/17/09 07:28 PM	We have the full system, we just started back using it since the competition is everywhere. You can set up your own names, colors and patterns. When they call the office, our receptionist schedules the appointment and has them email a photo of the area to her and she will set it up and email the photo back to them before we get there with our copy. they are usually standing at the door with the check book. But at some point, there should be an upgrade to the library with all the HS colors, more textures, Chem-Stone colors, etc. Haven't heard for a while but I know they were planning it. I prefer the EC version especially if you are taking pictures of possible jobs and using the software to show the potential customer what they can end up with. The Deco-con software has textures and colors from different suppliers as well as EC on their version. If you are showing the home owner the possibilities and he sees something from another supplier that he really likes better then S@@@! If I would have known, before I purchased the Deco-con version, I would have not purchased it! Just my 2 cents! I was wondering if in either the Deco-con or the EC version, there was the option to show customers interior pictures. Like doing the Before and After for a Residential or Commercial Floors. ? Also, Since I offer full depth decorative concrete as well as the elite-crete system, Would you suggest the Deco-con or the EC version? Thank-you, Mark
