Had a buddy tell me he just wanted regular broom finish even though i offered to do the stamp at cost (rental, color, release, sealer) last wek. Well setting
up for the pour this morning he decides he wants it stamped. After 15 phone calls I got everything I need but I have no idea what I am doing. I was hoping to
research it a bit before the pour but alas when customer says jump i asked how high.
So 6bag, full air, integral color from butterfield (my elitecrete distributer is 2 hour drive away so i called gerdau and they had it available and 15 min drive)
and release from butterfield too.
So i bull float let it get semi-set, then broadcast release, then hop on the fieldstone stamps and see how it goes? Patio is 12'x 40'. I am going to buy a tamper-what else do I need to know. Its a buddy of mine and he knows I am doing it to learn
Do I edge the concrete or let it run wild off the side of the form??
What is normal wait time before I jump on and do I need to use a walking trowel? Or is bull float fine?
