Hello Again Everyone,
Late last night, I got home from Panama. On this trip, we had the opportunity to meet with several architects and developers, and feel we were received far better than we had any reason to expect. At one point, an executive at a major developer told us that in 2004, he had considered Elite Crete for a commercial high-rise but that, partly because Elite Crete was not available in Panama at that time, he ultimately settled on something else.... and then something wonderful happened. RIGHT IN THE MEETING, that executive admitted to us that in retrospect, the decision to not use Elite Crete was A MISTAKE. Think about that for a second -- we went to pitch the product, and the product got pitched to us!!
As you might imagine, I already am looking for an apartment for myself in Panama City.
Panama comes very close to being a concrete paradise -- EVERYTHING is concrete, and 99.5% of EVERYTHING is BARE CONCRETE! (did I mention there is tons of repair-work that also could be done?) Just in the area in and around Panama City, there is enough work to keep an army of installers busy for decades to come. For us, the trick now is to procure the work and build that army of installers. In any event, the market there is WIDE OPEN!
Renan and I are planning to train and hire personnel so that we are not only distributing, but also performing installation. It is quite clear to us that this market is going to continue to grow significantly for a period of time that is well beyond the foreseeable future, which means there is lots and lots of room for installers to enter the market for a very long time.
If you or anyone you know might like or need a change, and would like to earn a good living installing in a place where the weather is good, the cost-of-living is reasonable, and the scenery is breathtaking, let me know. Renan and I are in the beginning stages of performing the necessary heavy-lifting in order to get things in place and ready to roll, and are welcoming any and all inquiries regarding what we feel is a very exciting opportunity.

Have a Blue Day!
