No ultra stone. It will peal off in sheets. gene ec-Indy

Well I say that because I've done it and that was what happened. (I learn everything the hard way). The ultrastone carrier for portion control colorants
will not penetrate a closed concrete surface. It doesn't have a cohesive co-host to adhere to. So, it lays on top till it dries. Now you can
"kinda" get away with it on a broom texture but it doesn't become part of the surface. It's still laying on top but the rough surface holds
on to it for ....... a little while. gene ec-Indy

The reason I was asking is I really like the look I have been getting with it on sample boards, but like you said it lays on top wich always made me believe
that it isn't a permanent way to color. What is a good way to antique stamps? thanks in advance , matt

Clean grout with a powder cleaner like Ajax on a small brush like a tooth brush with a little bit of water. To use something with less chemicals, try
bicarbonate of soda with a little vinegar or bleach.
Vinegar will bring back the shine to tiles, so will window cleaner buffed with a soft cloth. Ceramic tiles on the floor can become slippery if you polish them so scrubbing with a soapy solution will be enough, if the stains are persistant, try a bleachy solution. ______________________________________________ scottsdale flooring |

Sodium bicarb and vinegar? Are you cleaning grout or making a volcano for your science project? [foam over] I think you are missing the point of this forum
Irene.

I will assume you used a color release powder while stamping. This will add your antiquing affect. Then wash slab with water and a broom to move the amount of
release desired. Wait 28 days for the concrete to cure and you can apply acid stain to random stones. Remember the acid stain will continue to darken for a few
hours after application. You will need to neutralize the acid stain before applying your seal coat, let dry then apply two coats of sealer.
