You also have to have a sod cutter. A concrete company will twang ya for the amount of time it takes to pour it out. Can you get a truck right up to it? You should also vibrate the mud to lesson honey combing. Rebar is a good thing also.

If you have all the time in the world, go for it. I'd rather go out and make money doing what I know and spend it on someone else installing.

Here's a thought, call around and see if you can barter services. Small entry overly for the curbing. Or, hook up with someone and let them know that you will push their product when you are out bidding overlays. You just want a show piece at your (office) in the home.
