I was wondering if anyone new truely how to stop new concrete from crusting,i've changed mix still crusting.i've read alittle about fritz pack to slow concrete down and finishing aid you spray on. Just looking for a tried and true answer from guys who do the work not trying to sell me some @#%$. thanks you guys no B.S HUH!

Was wondering why the crusting? Wind.... I don't get it often but it becomes a pain when it happens. This, being mainly an overlay forum, you might not find your answer here.
I've used the surface retarders to keep the crusting in check before. Whats your fly ash usage? I do mainly bag mix and try to keep away from the "fillers". It's getting anymore you don't know what the hell is in your mix.... gene ec-Indy |
