Posts: 743 01/11/12 10:25 AM	No I didn't. I did an application over a formica top. I abraded it well and then went for it. Yesterday after I screened the whole top and back splash, I tried rolling on another coat of pt-1 colored the same as the top. I went light and kept working it until it finally covered and didn't have any runs in it. Going to screen it this afternoon and seal it. I am thinking that if there is a back splash involved that I will pass on doing them. There is no way if you do a reflector top that you can duplicate the back splash it it is already in place! Posts: 10 01/11/12 11:01 AM	It is always hard to color vertical projects, when possiable I always make the backsplash off site, color,seal and then install. Have you every tried using hvlp sprayer. ou can spray light coats till you get the color match.

Posts: 760 01/25/12 08:03 PM	Luke, It is my own hand mixed blend. I used 1/16" Torginol flakes the colors were black, charcoal, gray and white. Very little white as you can see. The majority were black and charcoal. I just kept mixing until the wife liked what she saw! I have seen about this same color though at Home Depot in the Rustoleum counter top kits.
