I recently did my 1st reflector garage floor. The problem is that since it was windy the 3 days we were there, we had the door up about 8" and I taped plastic to the door and the outside concrete. The wind blew in the plastic onto the epoxy while I ran an erand and when I came back I pulled it off the epoxy and it left imprints of the plastic. The area is about 12" deep and the length of the door. There is a saw cut in the floor just on the inside edge of the damaged area that runs along the door.
Is it possible to cut along that line and sand the eopxy that needs repaired and just put another coat covering that 12", or do I need to apply another coat over the entire floor after I sand it? The customer loves what he has except where the plastic got involved. All input welcome!
