I thought I would share some before and afters of my first real job after training. I made lots of mistakes and it took longer than it should have. It was just under 800sq. I did the whole job without help (never again) including grinding the whole thing by hand with a 7" grinder with diamond cup, and using a minimum of equipment. I had to deal with a lot of common issues: tile ghosting, large cracks, lots of patching.
The support by my distributor along the way was amazing, I don't know how that guy is always available instantly when I have a problem with all he has going on, but he is. I don't want his job, I'll tell you that.
The job turned out great in the end and the customer was blown away. I talked him out of doing a single color epoxy, which was what he wanted initially. He was glad I did.
