Hey Guys, I was wondering what you all thought on this. I have applied Elite Crete Material on dozens of homes and have never had this happened.
This was a older home with a ton of mastic all over the floors. We grinded all of the mastic off to the concrete. Did not acid wash. We applied one coat of TF. The next day there were a lot of locations where you get that yellow stain bleeding through. I primed those areas with Zinzer spray can primer, then applied another coat of TF. Still had a few areas of staining which I applied more Zinzer primer. We taped off our design and then troweled on the top coat which is a 50/50 mix of TF and MF. Even on this had a couple of small areas of the stain bleed through. I was able to stain those areas with ultrastone. Now I ended up with tile ghosting and spider-cracks in some areas. Does anyone have thoughts on this. Thanks in advance for your input.
