This board was just a thin stamped carved random stone with no grouting.

This is a make up class for the truck owners with plows that couldn't make the December class. I still have seats open.

Trowel textures, micro finishes, thin stamped, splatter textures will be offered.
Coloring systems will include acid stains, hydra stone dyes and portion control colorants.
We will be utilizing pt1 clear epoxy, aus satin, wcs and css emulsion sealers.
Patterns will be accomplished by stencils, tile scribing, diamond saw cutting and a neat little tool I picked up for free hand "drawing" a 1/4" wide grout line into thin stamp applications.

We may do another vertical if interest is there. Also, I hope to do more steps/risers this class. If you are in my district and would like a retrain, this is the class!

Who offers the best training and support?

To you folks that have been in the business a while, which manufacturer do you think offers the best training and support for concrete stamping and staining?

I've gone to a couple and so far are I am pleased with Increte. I have heard that their products are quite expensive compared to others.

Any ideas as to others that I might check out?

Just Finished Training Seminar - Northeast

My husband and I just attended the two day training in New Bedford with Rick and Steve and we just wanted to pass on that they were extremely knowledgable and thorough in their training. We had a diverse group of folks from different backgrounds and were able to learn alot within a short time. Rick was careful to emphasize that this is not something you become a pro at overnight and there is certainly much more to learn but it was a great place to get down the basics and see what overlay and thing stamping is all about. He couldn't emphasize enough that it is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.....not to mention COLORS, COLORS, COLORS!! It is my feeling that if you read the notes here on Concrete Locator before attending class it would be helpful.

Anyway just wanted to say thanks for your hospitality as well. Hope to get things going in a month or so!
