NCL on reflector

Trying that NCL one floor on my reflector and having trouble with spots getting it to not smudge. Trying different techniques but don't want to keep piling it on. Any you guys got any secrets to share? I would appreciate it.

Finish Pics of Reflector/plank tile overlay basement

This is a basement we did and recently finished. It is a titanium, charcoal reflector satin finish in the main area of the basement. The other side is a micro finish plank tile look which looks alot better in person. The grout lines were alot more defined in person, don't know why on camera they get washed out.

This is the bathroom which is a charcoal with gunmetal accent.

reflector re-coat question

Did a reflector in my office, trying to get some practice. Put down VB-5 let it dry overnight. Put down my reflector turned out great but got some fish eyes. I put it down Thursday and thinking of putting down another coat to cover the eyes. I read that their is a re-coat time frame?? I am thinking of trying it Sunday is that to late? Would I need to sand it first before or just alcohol wipe it?

Scratch resistance

Hi guys,

Is there any way to increase scratch resistance without affecting the glossiness?? I have tried AUS but it gives a matt finish

Will NCL put on such resistance and what are the application methods NCL on RE?

Hi guys,

I am new to this world. Just completed few samples of reflector enhancer but almost all the samples have comet like lines. On calcium silicate board, poured PT1 with the required reflector (not used any base coat). Need urgent help

Also am very poor in colour combination, any help on colours??

hey ya'll this is my first reflector try. Sawcut the design, put down vb-5, pt4 black, topcoat is a titanium base with charcoal accent. had some charcoal left and mixed in gunmental for streaking. Came back later with the aus v-satin. Tell me what you think, critiques are welcome. Im going to do a wood plank tile look with micro. finish pics to come

heat to flip reeflector

Does anyone use blow torch to flip reflector? I understand doing this for bubble prevention but i think someone posted that this can be used to flip as well. cant find it in the search.

Garage Floor

Anyone do a garge floor in reflector? I have done plenty of broadcast systems 100% broadcast with polyurea topcoat and it is tuff as nails. I am not sure of the durability issue of a reflector even top coated with AUS gloss/satin or a Polyurea/Polyaspartic. I still think it will scratch to easy and be seen and tire pull and markings.

Hi guys,

I recently went to a training class on the reflector and we didnt cover much on different techniques to apply it so you get some wild results.
Can anyone share some ways you applied the reflector to get great results ? Please include some details and if you have a pic that would be cool.
I know about using a base color and then a highlight color back rolled, but I heard there are techniques using ketchup bottles, rags, mops, etc..

Did this one over wood, it was my first experience tryng it. I learned a lot and it turned out well in the end. I really should have used a camera for pics instead of my phone though.

Remove Reflector Epoxy off EC overlay

I wish I took an actual picture, but the sample is at the shop.

I am working on a sample for the home show and the above picture shows part of that design being an EC overlay with the Spackle technique and the area where the "4" sits is a blue epoxy. The sample resembles a pool. I first creted and sealed the "pool deck" area. after that was all dry, I taped along the lines to add my epoxy reflector. Anyway, the reflector went under the tape and got on my finished EC overlay. How can I remove the epoxy from the overlay - Chemicals, wait till it dries and scape it off, I am not sure. Any help will be useful and thanks for the help ahead of time.

Frozen Custard Store Reflector Floor

Here is the latest. Its a frozen custard shop that took 10 sample boards until she finally picked the color combination she wanted. Floor was prepped then vapor barrier. Reflector base coat was charcoal and titanium (4 teaspoon charcoal/ 2.5 teaspoon titanium per 24 oz UV-1.....you do the math per gallon), highlight coats were bubblegum, gunmetal, rialto, green, and charcoal. Once highlights were down hit the floor with a texture roller. Sanded floor then urethane with aggregate followed by 3 coats of Primea floor finish. Coverage was 49.2 sf per gallon of UV.
