Stamped overlay questions

I have poured hundreds of yards of concrete with all different stamp finishes. I am new in the overlay industry and just went to a training and had a few
questions. The mix seemed a little sticky and i wanted to know if you can lightly fog with water and maybe run a fresno or light walking/funny trowel over the
surface to smoothen out your lines from the rakes? Also wanted to know from some experianced people on these stamped overlays, the samples we did seemed like
the overlay stuck to the stamps often. Im not sure if the intstructor needed more liquid release sprayed or what the deal was. And lastly is it better to stamp
the overlays when its a little wetter so you dont have to really tamp the stamp inpression in or wait so you can tamp the impressions in. And does that maybe
play into affect with the stickyness to the stamps. Thanks alot hope to hear some help.

told him the smallest he can go with that pipe is best. would i have to change my plans to a tp to add more clearence from the pipes, or would my original plan
still work?

Had a buddy tell me he just wanted regular broom finish even though i offered to do the stamp at cost (rental, color, release, sealer) last wek. Well setting
up for the pour this morning he decides he wants it stamped. After 15 phone calls I got everything I need but I have no idea what I am doing. I was hoping to
research it a bit before the pour but alas when customer says jump i asked how high.
So 6bag, full air, integral color from butterfield (my elitecrete distributer is 2 hour drive away so i called gerdau and they had it available and 15 min
drive)
and release from butterfield too.

So i bull float let it get semi-set, then broadcast release, then hop on the fieldstone stamps and see how it goes? Patio is 12'x 40'. I am going to
buy a tamper-what else do I need to know. Its a buddy of mine and he knows I am doing it to learn
Do I edge the concrete or let it run wild off the side of the form??
What is normal wait time before I jump...

I just stamped a pad yesterday that also had a sidewalk I used red integural color with dark brown release. Some of the release had got on the sidewalk which
had a broom finish, I had covered the walk with plastic but some had gotten under and instead if trying to rub and rebroom I left it alone because it was too
set too rework. Is there a way anyone has came accross to remove the release from the walk or will it be perm. stained. I thought of diluting some muratic acid
and scrubbing the sidewalk before sealing or just trying soap/water and scrubbing.
