I have done a few Reflector floors and wanted to know what some of you use to move the accent colors around? I have (in the past) used a hand trowel, but that just seems to a back and time killer. So I am hoping that some of you could help me out. Thanks.

We finished this on New Years Eve. One of the local High Schools contacted us about making a new sign paid for by the PTO. I had always thought that a spray texture could work really well for a logo. The image on the back was done using 'brick red' for the bottom coat, then put the image over that and sprayed the 'desert beige'. Once we removed the stencil, we were left with the lettering and horse. It work perfectly. The streaks are because it was still wet from sealing it with CSS.

We also hand carved the rock columns. The detail is very realistic, although I would have liked to spend more time carving the stones to get them nicer, but it was setting up too fast to lolly gag around.

We also do curbing, so that was a natural to keep the weed wackers away from the sign. I does a great job of keeping the rocks in and the grass out.

I need to get a better camera! I was inspired by Andy's floors and finally got a customer that wanted one. Floor: 2 base coats of TF with 3oz sypp black. Troweled 2oz Desert Beige 50/50 TF/Micro in three foot strips then broomed and stratigically placed knot holes. Tile scribed random 6in and 5in boards (Tip from uncle Doug....get on this asap or it makes for a long day). Sanded surface with 100 screens. 2:1 CSS on random boards to keep the lighter colors prior to acid. 2 coats of CS Black acid. Neutralize and let dry. Those random boards that were lighter got another coat of tinted CSS (Sherman Williams 877 umber and a touch of rfr gunmetal and coffee). First coat of WCS was HVLP sprayed then next two coats applied with micro fiber pad. Three coats of Primea floor finish.

This was a recent project will be going back Monday to apply a matte urethane topcoat. The floor was in horrible shape we counted 28 sawed off 2" pipes that had to be ground flush and pathced along with a ton of nail hole marks from old walls. The floor was covered with black mastic. we shot blast first then spiral ground then did a quick brush blast to re-clean. Applied VB-5 Then tinted PT-1 with black 844 tint and broadcast sand to rejection. laid out dance floor can cut line applied main color of 2 parts coffee 1 part copper 1 part brass and 1 part charcoal. Accent colors drizzled in were copper, gunmetal, brass/charcoal and charcoal/dark green the dance floor was gun metal with same colors drizzled in with the exception of gunmetal and added the left over main floor mix in its place.

Here is a closer look at the bar.

We made the step area match the floor. The sides are going to have some airbrushing at a later date.

The top was touched up with a coat of Thin-Finish and Micro with a touch of SYPP white. Vinyl masking applied ready for Hydrastone dyes.

Black Hydrastone first then Aged orange over top. All sealed up with PT-1 and a little Sherbet Reflector on the sides.
Fun project but lots of work.

Harley basement

Here is a basement floor that has a Harley Davidson theme to it that we did this spring.

First pic shows a storage space that had sawcuts added to it. Last pic shows the concrete bar that I will post some photos of next.

This is a recent basement I just finished.. It is so hard to take photos of this stuff.

Thanks for the tips on here from everyone.. Gene I did get the fume to mix in the pt-1 for all the patching.. It works well..
